Auto Windows restart or system reboot?

Can anybody help with a script or similar to force a restart of Windows or a system reboot following auto-maintenance?
The maintenance is run overnight using the Windows wizard and to save valuable time it would be useful if the system could also be made to restart Windows or reboot once this had completed?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
