Autoexec.bat?

Question, this is going to sound lame….but I’ll ask anyways. I haven’t used 9x for so long I don’t remember so don’t laugh! But I have a PC that is booting straight to DOS. Not just restarting in DOS, but alwaying boots to DOS. Is this in the autoexec.bat and what is it?
