Automatic Backup

by majduarte . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

What can I do in order to backup automatically some files or folders, located in some of the 15 PCs that operate in a Windows 95 or 98 system, and are in the same network controlled with a Windows 2000 server? The point is: We have had some problemswith missing information from the PCs and there are no backups neither on diskettes nor in the server’s hard disk. And someboby told me about a software that does not let you turn your PC off until you have backed up all your important files. So, people is forced to insert a diskette and back up their files. But I don’t know whether this procedure is possible only through certain programming in Windows 95/98 or if it consists of a special software. Do you know how can I get this kind of backup automatically performed in every PC on the network?
Thank you for your help
