automating pdf production in VFP

I need to automate the process of report publication for my FoxPro reports. We currently have several that are sent to PDFWriter and renamed by the programmer who runs them manually. Is there a way to assign the name of a .pdf created with distiller from within my FoxPro application at runtime? Maybe a switch or an API? This would help in executing these programs after hours without supevision. I will be very grateful if any thoughts are given.
