available drive space

My backup software stops at 80% complete because there are only 15.1mb free on the 2gb C drive and it needs more free space. I’d like to get rid of some space, not a whole lot, enough for today to complete this backup, which has not been done for a month. I may do a partition soon and some other space stuff but I’m very busy today. Any answers?
