Backing Up The Registry

The article this morning concerning Examining the Windows NT Registry stated:
Since the Registry is a vital part of Windows NT, you should perform regular backups. The best way to do this is to include the Registry during your normal backup routine.
My question is how can I include the registry in my normal backup routine?
