Backup Exec 10.0d Job verify takes too long!

I have a question about Backup Exec 10.0d. For the last couple of days the verify job has been running way too long. I’m not sure what the problem is. I have cleaned the drive but still have the same problem. There is nothing wrong with the tapes because it takes long on every tape. Anyone have any ideas, suggestions???
