Bad Location, good computer

READ IT CAREFULLY before answering please…I took a computer out of a bad location to my office (across the hallway, same workgroup, same domain) and check internet connection and it works; however I took it back to the bad location and it did not work…I brought in a good computer to the bad location and it works, no problem. What seems to be the problem?
