All I can think of is this problem is somehow caused by bad power. Brand new Asus motherboard and new Cell 2gig cpu. Owner reports when working in Word, it runs very slow, meaning she will type a few words then have to wait for Word to catch up which could be a couple of minutes and then the words will come on the screen, also says freezes when on internet or receiving emails. Okay I now have the computer at my place and no problems, running for around three hours now, worked in Word for about half an hour, and my son has been playing Tony Hawk proskater for around two hours on it, no problems. Why it it working here and not at the owners. At first she thought might be monitor so changed to a newer monitor, still the same. She has had electricians out testing the wiring in her house, they say okay. She lives in a remote area with only a few houses and she tells me she is on the end of the power line. She usually works with the computer late at night so would not be at a heavy power useage time. What else do you think it might be that is different other than power. This is like memory delay, but why at her place and not at mine. Any suggestions??
