Bad Wordpad Install

Good Day All !
I have Windows 98, IE Version 6. I have a bad Wordpad Install, can’t copy & paste to it, although I can to Notepad. Have been told that I have a bad install on Wordpad. Is there any way I can fix thisproblem without competely re-installing Windows 98? I don’t have a disk,my system came with Windows already installed!!
