Batch program in WIN2K

by trenaw . Updated 25 years, 4 months ago

I set up W2k as a webserver only, with two nic’s. One to SPX for Novell and
one to TCP/IP. Gateway is working and I can log into the network if needed. I
have a DOS program that works as a CGI script but isn’t really a CGI script.
The batch file initiates a COBOL 16bit DOS exe program that searches a
database and then returns the results. Using O’Reilly and W95, this worked
without being logged into the system. In W2K, it does not work either logged
in or not. in W2K I receive the following error: HTTP/1.1 Error 405 – Resource
not allowed. This is the only program that does not work. I can run other batch
files that update web pages without being logged into the system, I have only
one web address ip number, I allow anon users. I do not have AD installed.
Any avenues would be greatly appreciated.
