bios

my brother passed away and i ended up with a sea anchor laptop dell inspiron 9100, i cleaned it off-hard drive as my intent was to set it up fro my grand-daughters for an exmas gift– well i locked my self out of the bios and don’t know howto reset thepassword– i know you guys hear all kinds of excuses but this is real.

iam capable of taking it a part- but would be very un sure of what to do right..

i use a dell latitude d820 and my wife has one allso.

thanks for any real help–dell was not help full as they wanted a receipt from a dead man–there is none.
