My PC quit booting (see prior question “My PC Won’t Boot”…)but I was able to recover it by resetting the CMOS. I did that by pulling all power and pulling the CMOS battery for a while, then putting it back together and booting up again.
Now it boots, but the BIOS calendar is wrong. It allows me to set the date, but the day is wrong. For instance, it is showing today as Sunday, 1/17/2004 instead of Monday.
Overriding the day is apparently not an option.
Any ideas are appreciated!
