bios password on thinkpad x20

One of our former employee placed a password in the Bios on one of our Think Pad X20 laptops.
Is there a way that I can remove the password from the Bios as well as the password that was place through the BIOS onto the hard drive.
I have already removed the CMOS battery and tried to clear it that way with no such luck.
