Bios-TCP/IP

Rcently while re-locating my pc, I got ans error message stating that I was unable to connect to the internet because of no connection to TCP/IP. I tried fixing this with no luck. I am on my mom’s pc, because mine is isn’t up to speed. What should I do. HELP!!!!!!!!!
