Blocking Kazaa and P2P sharing programs

Hi,

I’m trying to find out what other people have done to block P2P sharing programs like Kazaa, Morpheus, Bearshare, etc. Are there specific ports that can be blocked? Or do you have to block the specific IP addresses? Any insight to this is welcome. Thanks.
