Boot off floppy

I am trying to image a laptop (Sony Vaio V505), and i can’t get it to boot into Ghost from the (Sony USB) floppy. I tried changing the boot sequence in setup, but it doesn’t even seem to properly change, as a + sign remains beside the harddrive. Is their a keystroke or something to get around this?
