Bootable DVD problem

I’ve created a bootable DVD with a boot floppy using Instant DVD.
The problem occurs after the bootable bit executes, loads the DVD driver and maps the drive. It then drops to DOS and I can do a dir to see the DVD contents of the drive. I cannot access and file as I get file not found and I cannot change directory. I would say it was a problem with the driver but I’ve used this bootable floppy several times and I’ve checked it isnt corrupt. Any ideas?
