Booting from a particular drive

Iam running a winnt4 server network.one of my servers has a corrupted file error,I now slave the hard disk on another machine to enable me troubleshoot.my problem is that, I want to boot from a particular drive on the slaved hard disk.how do I do it?

Similarlly, I found it difficult copying files from the master disk onto the slave disk.Any idea about how to go about it?
Need your help.
