Booting Problems

I have dual boot system, win98 and XP.
I recently uninstalled some creative webcam software now my computer starts only on win98 and only as far as the desktop with two error messages: (1st)’Error loading Explorer.exe. You must reinstall windows’ (2nd) ‘Error Starting Program’ stating ‘A required DLL file MSVCRT.DLL was not found.
I have run out of options.
Can anyone out there please help? I am desperate.
