boot.ini in windows 2000

where can i find the boot.ini & ntldr files in w2k.
in nt4 we can see them in the active partition. they r hidden files. but i could not find them in w2k. i do know that w2k booting procedure is not changed much, so they should be in active partition. is there any other procedure , please let me know.
