both dvd drives will only read one dvd after computer boots

I installed movie clone 3gold and it never worked. after installing, both dvd drives will only read the first disk installed after the computer boots. I can take out the disk and the drive still thinks it is in until I re-boot. I have un-installed mc3 since but the drives have the same problem. I also re-installed ASPI. I am running windows xp sp2. Help please!
