I have a Domain Controller that is grayed out in Server Manager and is listed as Windows NT Backup and not Windows NT 4.0 Backup. I typed net config server /hidden:no and it didn’t change anything. This DC still receives SAM updates from the PDC. IfI were to stop and start the browser service it won’t be grayed out in Server Manager, but after a few hours it will be grayed out again. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
