I have a external Sony DRX500UL DVD burner and easy CD Creator 5, RecordMax Platinum, Nero 5 burning software. I have no problem burning audio and data cds (using an internal LG CD-RW cd writer), however, I do not know, and cannot figure out how toburn a DVD using the Sony. This particular burner is supposed to support ALL formats, is installed and showing active in device manager. My PC info: Gateway Pentium 4, 1.7Ghz, 120GB harddrive, 512 MB ram. I want to burn movies that are already stored on my harddrive. The only thing I have been able to learn and apply is the fact that I have to convert .avi, divx, etc, to mpeg files. Can anyone help, or direct me to a site/place where I can find simple, abc information concerning the process of burning DVDs from files stored on the harddrive to DVD discs? Debbie
