C-Media Sound card

I have a problem with my sound card i have a generic computer that uses an Sis motherboard with a c-media 8338 chip. The problem is the 3d sound didn’t work so i sownloaded the driver from the offical web site now i have no sound at all. I am baffeled because there are no conflicts, and everthing according to my computer is working fine.
