cable and dns

Hello,
I have a computer with 2 network adapters. The first adapter is connected to a cable modem and the other is connected to a small network of currently 1 pc. The operating system is W2K server. I want to develop websites on my local network and then I want to publish this to the internet. I have configured a dns server on this pc. I make a website locally with asp and the sqldatabase is on another place. How do I configure my dns server and how do I configure my networkadapters so that I can retrieve information from the sql server and my local website.
