Cable ISP Networking

by jharold . Updated 25 years, 2 months ago

I have two computers on a NT 4.0 workstation platform and geographically separated. They both are on the local Cox Cable IS. They were previously networked and mapped over the IS, but because of a virus the connection was broken. What needs to beset and how do I get these two systems talking to each other again. I can ping both computers, for I have the same IS too. But I need to get them both sharing data again. What settings do I need to set in NT, ie. protcols, sharing etc. I need animmediate reply. Thanks….
