cache password

Greetings,

Has anyone run into a problem with locally cache passwords not changing when the “domain base” password is change via VPN dailup? We are running W2K VPN. We have been dealing with this problem forever. The only work around we have is having the users log into the VPN and then hit CLT-ALT-DEL and change the password.
This process sync’s up the
“locally cache password” with the
“domain password” Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
