can i get it back?

i have a 13gig hard drive i used partion magic 6.0 to create a new partition, i made a mistake and click on primary instead of logical when it asked what type. I’m running win98SE, now i have two primary partitions, there is one that is hidden it has alot of data that i would keep. i attempted to reverse task but then came up with the error “enter commmand interpreter” i checked with a few sites on the error even technet, didnt work, and it also erased the drive labels i can’t get in to it but i can see it thru partion magic 6.0. I had to delete the latest partition, make a new one just to get on the internet.HELP NEEDED!
