Can I Increase the size of a partition?

by bill eger . Updated 24 years, 12 months ago

I run a mixed net with an NT40 PDC and mostly Win NT and 2000 workstations. My server is partitioned into 5 partitions: the original server installation, the current server installation, two reserved (unformatted) spaces and the shared area. Each partition is 2 GB except the last which is about 27.

The problem is the current booted partion is giving me a warning in the logs that it only has 100MB of space remaining. Can I append the adjacent empty partition to the current one creating one4 GB or does anyone know of a way to increase the disk size?

Another option is to “move” the installation points of SQL and IIS to one of the partitions if someone can give me some pointers on that.

Thanks in advance.
