Can I keep from losing port captures on

I have a client who uses 98, and has a network printer, we have captured the printer port, but every morning when he comes back in and starts his system up, he has to recapture these, is there a way to keep this from happenning? I know this is an issue with XP, but I have not seen it on 98.
