Cannot Connect to Internet

When I try to connect to the internet through Netware w/ a Win95 client it fails. I am able to log into the network and ping 127.0.0.1 returns correctly. But when I try to open the internet, it just doesn’t work. I took the gateway address and the ip addresses from other systems that work, so I am sure they are correct..we have static ip addressing…the system worked until one of the maintenance men disconected the system from the network..after plugging it back in, it hasn’t worked since.Any advice would be appreciated.
