We are attempting to delete a local user policy for a user on a Windows 2000 Professional workstation on an NT 4.0 domain. This profile was copied to default user and everyone was given access to use. Later we created another account and copied that profile to default user and granted everyone access. When we view the user profiles within System properties it does not allow us to delete the previous profile. The user was originally set up with domain admin rights, although we later removed the user as a domain administrator and still could not delete profile. When we attempt to delete the profile through C:Documents and Settings, we receive the message “cannot delete Usrclass.dat, There has been a sharing violation. the source or destination file may be in use.” Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dan
