cannot enter safemode in win xp pro

I am trying to enter safemode on xp. I had moved a partition on my hd and reboot option came up on screen. I clicked the reboot option and after posting I get this light blue screen that says autocheck program not found-skipping autochk. Below that says loading paragon engine which is my partition manager that I was using before I went down. Next comes blue screen of death(c000021a) fatal system error. Now I am trying to enter safemode and hopefully correct the problem. I have tried all keys and cannot enter safemode. Any help would be appreciated.
