cannot log into NT domain from 98

I have a lap-top working and log into the nt domain just fine until the pmcia card went bad, With the new card, I can get to the internet. but the computer boot into windows
without giving me the option to log into the domain, all tcp/ip set up thesame as the old card and client for microsoft is set for Nt domain login,
