Cannot read HTML format Mails

My network users are not able to read mails written in HTML format.The users, when they try to open and read the mail, what they see is just the source code for that HTML format mail.JYI We are using Microsoft Exchange 4.0 on WINNT 4.0 with clients using Outlook 2000 / Outlook 98.
