Cannot see my “D” drive in windows 98 ?

I cannot see my “D” drive in windows 98 se.. I made an extended and a logical partition in F-disk .. After I made the new partition, I formatted the “D” drive and rebooted .. I can see the new partition in dos and in F-disk and it shows the correct info like :FAT 32, and the correct partition size .. But in ” my computer” in windows, I cannot see the “D” drive .. Any ideas how to correct this problem ..
