Hi, I’m experiencing this strange problem.
On a NT SERVER 4 machine I have two NTFS partitions.
I set first the sharing permissions on these partitions in order to allow access to only some groups and than I used the security tab to set file and directory permissions, over all subdirectories.
Then was evening and it all worked fine.
The next day I have made a check on this server and I discovered that the security tab is disappeared, clicking the right mouse button on the directory on whichI need to reset or modify permissions.
In other words the system treats the ntfs partition like fat partitions after I’ve set them.For example I cannot set auditing anymore, even if I’m logged on the server as administrator. Is it normal or strange? Is there anybody that can tell me how to resolve this problem?
