Cannot uninstall office 2000 sr1

Installed office 2k cd 1&2 (complete), as the cliparts were not avilable for my photoshop presentation. It still asks for cd2 when i want to use cliparts. I want to uninstall & re-install office 2k. I use win98 and the m/c hangs as soon as the office remove tab is selected. I am installing office 2k from an original ms cd sp1. Any ideas on how to un-install?
