can’t access directory in FTP directory

I was stupid in opening up my FTP site on my Win2k server to anyone, not to mention allowing the packets through the firewall. I was having problems with FTP access from my house so I opened both IIS write permission and the Firewall for testing purposes. Then I forgot to get back to them. In the mean time, from the logs I kept I found that many people tested the access to the FTP directory and I now have directories in there that I can’t access. I have taken ownership of them as admin, butevery time I try to access them from the GUI or CL the task freezes. This means I can’t delete them either. Help a DumbA$$…thanks
