Can`t access print server in root domain

I`m currently migrating my PCs from Windows NT domain to Windows 2000 child domain using ADMT tool. Everything works fine except that I can`t manage my PC located in the AD under ‘Computers’. It says can`t connect to my PCs DNS name.

Also I`m notable to view the printers from my root domain which is my print server.
In explorer, under ‘directory’, I`m not able to browse the active directory from my PC member of the child domain.

Does anybody has any idea? Thanks for your help
