CANT BOOT FROM MIRRORED DRIVE

I had two drives mirrored(software mirror, winnt4). The main drive went down so Im trying to boot from my mirrored drive. The error I get is “cant find ntldr” and it wont boot. If I use a fault tolerant boot disk it will boot. Help.
