Can’t change resolution

Hi there, Im using Win 98SE, and after formatting the hard drive, reinstalling all my drivers etc, I cant get the videocard to show better than 640 x 480 reslotion at 256 colours.

The videocard has an Intel 740 chip on it, but I dont know the brand of the card.

Device manager shows the card as Intel 740 Graphics Adapter, and that the driver is installed and the card is working properly.

I have tried the Advanced setting, and it doesnt even show 16 bit etc.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone who knows their stuff please lend me a hand!!!
