Can’t enable high performance power plan on laptop w/ win10

by trust_ . Updated 5 years, 9 months ago

I have been unable to enable the high performance power plan on my new ROG Strix laptop. I have tried restoring the default power plans, and this is what it shows:

Existing Power Schemes (* Active)
———————————–
Power Scheme GUID: 27fa6203-3987-4dcc-**8d-748559d549ec (Performance) *
Power Scheme GUID: 381b4222-f694-41f0-9685-ff5bb260df2e (Balanced)

How do I get high performance back? I have also tried using “powercfg -duplicatescheme 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c” & importing the POW file to no avail.
