Can’t enter Microsoft word

When I try to enter word, I get these dialogue boxes: ‘Procedure entry point: Get WindowsTGIF9a could not be located in the dynamic link library.’

Then next: ‘The operating system is not presently configured to run the application.’

MY tech skills are low! Where do I start?
