Can’t install software in Windows 2000

I recently updated to Windows 2000, but I’m having problems re-installing Symantec Norton SystemWorks software. During Windows 2000 installation, I selected the “New installation” instead of “Upgrade from Windows 98” hopping to avoid problems.
However, when I try to install Norton SystemWorks, I get the message “Must be run in Windows 95 or 98”.
I checked both Microsoft and Symantec’s website and they both say that it should have no problems. Any sugestions?
