Can’t join mixed mode domain – NT 4 PDC

I have a 3 server domain. The primary is W2k in mixed mode. The other 2 servers are NT 4 BDC’s. I am rebuilding one of the BDC’s (ex-PDC). I am trying to bring it into the domain as an NT 4 BDC (not W2K because of hardware). It tells me the machine account doesn’t exist or is not accessible. I created the machine account in AD manager on W2K, when I tried to join it told me the account was already used. When I tried to create the account in Server Manager it wouldn’t let me create a BDC, said Network request is not supported. Any ideas? Thanks – Jeff
