Can’t log in domain (password too long?)

I have a Win98 client that log in a Win2K Server domain. On the Server there is no problems with passwords. But on the client, when an user enter the password, It’s OK
But when the Administrator enter the password, he can’t logon!
The Administrator password has 17 characters
Is there a solution for use a long password on Win98?
