Can’t Ping the gateway

All machines on my network (OS: Win 2000, NT, Win 95/98) except one, can access the internet. This machine sees all the other machines on the LAN, but cannot even ping the gateway. I have checked and re-checked the configurations and everything seems to be okay. Any help?
