Can’t Ping the web on client behind Inte

I just used Windows 2000 Pro to share the internet connection. I’m able to browse the web and access the network fine, but I can’t ping other website like “ping www.sun.com” What cause it? Or this isn’t support under Windows 2000 Pro?
